Beautiful Iceland

Well, I´m back!! I´m very sorry for the lack of blogging here, but the summer house we were staying at had no Wi-fi. But I took lots of photos and we traveled quite a lot!! I was like a tourist in my own country, because I had never been to the east side of Iceland before and I just wanted to go everywhere!! I was always asking my dad to stop the car so I could go outside and take photos. He didn´t mind though....he has been around the country numerous times, because he used to work as a bus driver for many years, so he knew almost everything about everything. Very nice to have our very own personal guide! :)

The pink circles are all the places we stopped at :) Mostly little towns in the fjords.
Here are some of the photos I took:

We were not lucky weather-wise though....it was raining almost the whole time and we were wearing our winter clothes! So typical, since this whole summer it has been sunny on the east side but raining on the south side where I live, but as soon as we went on our trip the weather changed. On Monday it was the hottest day in Reykjavík this whole summer.....how ironic?? I decided to take an extra day off work on Tuesday to enjoy a little bit of sun....I laid on the swimming pool bench for about 3 hours! It was sooooo good, I can´t tell you how much I´ve been craving sun this summer....it´s been raining and raining and raining and well, raining. And now the summer is almost over! One day, I will move to a sunny place, that´s for sure :D

Enjoying the sun :)
